Auryn/Medinah - 2024 2nd Half General Discussion

Thank you for reiterating what is supported by Auryn management’s official communications — not just misplaced speculation as inferred. :hole: :bomb: :boom:

BB, Could you elaborate on this statement from the latest Notification?

“Our goal is to produce and export mineral concentrates, which we plan to sell on an FOB basis to major traders such as Glencore or Trafigura.”

Classic BB. Even when the company confirms the 10gpt+ mine plan expectations he refuses to budge from his hyper grade mumbo jumbo. Now it all comes down to the grades of the stockpiles? Even when the company specifically cites that the grades from Enami don’t represent dilution nor what should be expected, this citation is ignored.

I can appreciate that actually believing the company’s official guidance is difficult given that doing so would negate almost all of your other investment “hypethecations” BUT at some point it may make sense to make an “adjustment” in your approach given the time and financial losses.

Food for thought that can and will be ignored. Carry on!

The jack-leg drills are used to drill the holes that are later charged with explosives and blasted. They are not to mine ore without blasting…

Hello everyone. Quick question, and apologies for this being something that I should know already. I have pretty much just let this investment sit, hoping some day I’ll come back to it and it will actually be worth a little something. I just checked my Schwab account, and it shows $0 value for my MDMN shares. I know that these shares of supposed to convert at some point to Auryn at a certain percentage, is there something that I need to do to make that happen, or will it covert on its own at some point? Thanks everyone.

How is Expert Market different from the Grey Market?

The Grey Market is an opaque market where broker-dealers are not willing or able to publicly quote OTC securities given the lack of investor interest, company information or regulatory compliance.

Unlike the Grey Market – where this is no public quote at all – the Expert Market provides additional price transparency, as it allows for unsolicited quoting.

How are Companies affected by these Changes?

The answer to this depends on the market on which your securities trade. In order to be quoted by broker-dealers on the Pink Market, a company must provide current public disclosure on an ongoing basis. This may include disclosure provided via the SEC’s EDGAR filing system, through a non-U.S. stock exchange or regulator, or to OTC Markets Group directly via our OTCIQ platform. Companies that do not take the necessary steps to make current disclosure available pursuant to the Pink Current or Pink Limited Guidelines may migrate to the Expert Market. Visit the Information for Pink Companies section of our website for further details.

Here’s a link that gives a little more detail.

Some of you may have listened to Craig Hemke’s Yearly Wrap Up Report interview titled Eric Sprott on Gold Price in 2024 (Dec 21 2023). Quite interesting view on inflation, naked shorting, interest rates, difficulty funding of early stage mining projects, the precious mining markets and much more. Generally, some unexpected and surprising views on diverse topics. A candid conversation.

This Eric Sprott video you mentioned shares significant insight to where gold prices are headed, and estimates about how long these prices may continue. I watched some of his other videos, too. Well-worth the time!

I can’t find the one you & EZ mentioned right away, but this more recent video with Eric Sprott is pretty damn good. https://youtu.be/8ZUJe459frw?si=sYqcbQ9smveXT40W

Found it …

So for you Austin, You can sell your shares, but there is NO BID & ASK. If you decide to sell, it will be to a market maker that pays what he/she feels like. Last trades of MDMN were

2024-09-18 1,000,000 sh @ $0.000001 ( a Million shares cost the MM $1,000 ! )
2024-09-17 107,800 sh @ $0.000001
2024-09-16 14,718 sh @ $0.00006
2024-09-11 495,912 sh @ 0.000001

Thanks for the response. I’m not interested in selling….not really much of a point at the price, but aren’t the shares supposed to be converted to AUMC at some point?

It should just be triggered by the company at some point without you having to take action. There has been speculation that they are waiting for some higher stock price on the AUMC so MDMN can pay its final expenses.

Correct. The reason why the artisanals delivered higher grades is because they did not blast. They tried to follow veins and only select directly mineralize ore, for obvious reasons. They had to pack it on mules and trek down the mountain. This is why they mined minimal tonnage over multiple decades. It’s also why using their grade to forecast grades for even small scale mining with blasting, dilution, etc is apples and oranges. Seems like stating the obvious but still needs to be stated.

I don’t think anyone is telling you what makes sense. Just hang on to your shares and they will eventually convert at approximately 1:200 ratio. This will still take awhile and is at the will of management.

No. They obviously blasted. You can’t advance a drift with a hammer and mil. They probably took very short blasts though and slashed of any high grade looking material from the drift walls.

meant to say hammer and moil.

Yes. Not sure if I would call it blasting but I guess that comes down to semantics. I’m not saying they were still using black powder but that quantum of dynamite would have been diminimus. They also would have spent a loooong time visually sorting through the material to minimize the tranported ore. My guess is that they left a lot of valuable material behind in the process.

Very easy to separate by hand quartz vein material from dark wall-rock. Your guess is prbably worong, in my ipinion. There is a myth about the old time miners leaving high grade in the walls. It is that, a ,myth. They were generally very good miners. I know that you specified “marginal” ore, however, I have no idea what you base this on.
