Does this mean that we can now depend on you not to track the BS of the past into Medinahās and our future?
I donāt think the enthusiasm is about what the price will do tomorrow. I believe most people have a little longer term perspective than that. My guess is the excitement is about the big sign that says, āMDMN, under new managementā.
Right you are. The PS will now take care of itself (with a little help from the mountain and some people who know what theyāre doing.)
āMASGLAS, a significant Medinah shareholder, will work in concert with Mr. Goodin to accomplish a comprehensive analysis of Medinahās books and records to ensure the continued integrity of Medinahās financial statements. During this process all of Medinahās assets and liabilities will be scrutinized in detailā
I immediately wondered what that would entail.
Seems like they are much more interested in looking forward though.
Since Goodin has taken such a very prominent role does anyone know more about him other than what is in his bio?
He is a standup guy. We used to speak occasionally and communicate on Silicon Investor during the early days of MDMN back when SI was the only forum site. Havenāt talked with him much since then other than a brief hello at the last AGM.
He can be trusted to do the right thing and serve all the shareholders.
His bio / law firm website is public.
Iām also curious how Masglas can pick whoever they want to sit on the Medinah Board.
Iām curious, why wouldnāt Masglas be able to elect whoever they want to the board?
Great that he is a standup guy. Is he qualified to lead a financial holding company trading on the pinks? My experience with Lawyers you wouldnāt want them to handle financial affairs. Iām not throwing stones. I just want to make sure we are in qualified and in capable hands.
Like I asked. Iām curious. Educate me.
Iām just offering the opposite side of the equation and I donāt know. Educate me⦠why canāt/shouldnāt they be able to?
Ethics? donāt have control?
I honestly have no ideaā¦
Thanks. How much control do they have? How much control does Auryn/Masglas have?
WRT your first question about how two Masglas people were added, I believe itās the same way Vittal Karra and Gary Goodin were added. The by-laws allow for the current BOD to fill vacancies and add directors. Masglas and friendlies control the majority of the stock (imo) so my suspicion is it was an easy decision for the current BOD.
Regarding your second comment, I donāt think theyāre at the point of setting this up as a holding company yet. It seems to me heās the right person right now to provide the needed continuity to . . .
MASGLAS, a significant Medinah shareholder, will work in concert with Mr. Goodin to accomplish a comprehensive analysis of Medinahās books and records to ensure the continued integrity of Medinahās financial statements. During this process all of Medinahās assets and liabilities will be scrutinized in detail. The goal of this effort is to improve the effectiveness with which Medinah communicates its results and financial condition to the investment community and the mining industry.
It would be great if that could be done and a full report provided to shareholders at the AGM along with AURYNās pitch for the future. (Donāt know of thatās possible in 3 months.) Then maybe we shareholders can discuss and vote on it. A novel idea, I know. ![]()
