Hopefully, whoever is making them will ignore the grumpy old men on this thread that don’t understand that Twitter is a perfectly acceptable means of promotion. It shows that Medinah is actually alive, and certainly an improvement over the weeks/months of silence.

I can’t wait for the live webcams placed at strategic locations.

The only people that these tweets reach already are invested.

New investors are not looking for their next investment through tweets.

Medinah is on it’s way to green pastures on all positive notes:

  1. New/Upgraded website coming up
  2. Construction mine/production
  3. Masglas/Auryn sponsoring Chile Explore Congress ( more exposure we will be in production by then)
  4. AGM

And all this in a short time span.

?

I feel like many here are still stuck back in the 1990’s social media wise.

I don’t think that’s right. MDMN has 795 followers. They all aren’t investors.

“It’s time to graduate from penny stock pre-school”.

Hmm…looks like these mining companies have graduated from Penny Stock pre-school:

https://twitter.com/Newmont

https://twitter.com/AngloGold_07

https://twitter.com/Goldcorp_Inc

https://twitter.com/kinrossgold

Did I need to list more?

Obviously the Big Guys use Twitter all the time.

Many investors use Twitter as their investment news feed.

Twitter will automatically recommend the Medinah Twitter feed to those interested in mining based on a number of criteria.

If one have some time, take a look who already is following Medinah!

Just a quick overview of the use of twitter for businesses.

So I guess Barrick Gold’s unprofessional? https://twitter.com/barrickgold
And BHP Billiton https://twitter.com/bhpbilliton?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author
etc. etc.

I feel MDMN finally moving out of the dark ages. If MDMN can execute a clear and concise information campaign, the investment community will begin noticing. MDMN will not suffer any harm from increased interest and investment. IMHO

You don’t compare who has a twitter account, you compare content and how well the tweets are crafted. Notice I never said twitter was unprofessional, I said the TWEETS were unprofessional. Learn to read.

They are crafted just fine. You can add your latest response to the “unprofessional” category Mr. Learn to Read.

That’s your opinion, not mine - and your response to my initial comment is predictable.

I still can’t get on the Medinah website. Is it still down or is it just me?

Thanks Mike. It is a new era for all of us long timers! Keep up the fine work Mike. You too Kevin.

I follow dozens of mining companies on Twitter. It’s not an usual medium for PR for any public companies. My reference was to the quality of what is/was being “tweeted.” I can appreciate that your bar for “quality”, after being in this investment for 20 years, is whether words were spelled correctly but it might make sense to start tweeting once there is something substantive. However, I will admit, they didn’t misspell any words. Progress.

And, in the learning to read category, Alex I’d like to pick TXSVTrader for $500. You stated “These tweets are unprofessional and need to stop” This statement includes an absolute, to stop. According to the dictionary.com definition of stop, it means “to cease from, leave off, or discontinue” If you had written these tweets need redrafting or better content, one could understand your meaning; however, you did not. Therefore your statement must only mean you want MDMN to cease or discontinue the use of all tweets as you did not qualify the specific tweets to which you were referring.

Further, if you look at my response, I did contest your opinion for the content of MDMN’s tweets through asking if you felt Barrick Gold and BHP Billiton where unprofessional. I erred in assuming you would make the connection to actually read the tweets by these companies to those of MDMN. My mistake. Next time, I will clearly spell it out for you.

Therefore, now, how would you, in your opinion, craft a professional tweet? Here’s a quick link to tweets which backfired 13 Epic Twitter Fails by Big Brands As well as comparing the tweets posted by Barrick Gold and BHP Billiton, how do MDMN’s tweets compare to these unprofessional tweets? What would you change?

In my opinion, using Twitter to promote and generate traffic to your website in a clear, concise, and truthful manner does not fall under unprofessional. Instead of criticizing, maybe you could make suggestions to MDMN on a better way to Tweet to benefit us all.
