Medinah/Auryn - 2018 Q3 General Discussion

Nice to see Richard Sillitoe meeting with Maurizio for whatever the reason.

It appears that Sillitoe has had an epithermal deposit focus of late. (Think Caren/Fortuna)

Here is a recent paper put out by one his colleagues:

Thanks Cornhusker, I went to YouTube and entered “Richard Sillitoe” and a whole series of short videos popped up - I think it was a single interview in multiple parts, ranging from his education up to present. Following is the first of the series (just go to the first one and the rest of them come up autonatically):

This guy, Dr. Sillitoe, is no pretender.

So, if we have a recent (?) picture of him visiting with our management (see Wizard’s post above), that could bode well. I’m guessing the guy on the right is Maurizio Cordoba?

In regards to the trading of CDCHD now… if history is any indication at all it is very likely the stock will experience some selling. Expect it. Most people in these markets don’t have much, if any, knowledge about investing. They are simple speculators. Some here I’m sure fit that category, myself included although I understand enough to be a more or less wise speculator. There are those who read “reverse split” and, because they are penny stock speculators, are in a panic and will sell because of the stigma of that phrase.

There is very little known at this time to provide any sort of accurate valuation, and so the stock could experience some severe swings. None of it matters until the company starts providing clarity on valuation which, based on that little comment near the end of yesterday’s update, is coming. They wouldn’t be jumping through all the hoops they certainly have been if it wasn’t worth it, so remain patient and watch the show… and don’t let the share price movement bother you if it goes down because the only people selling now are speculators, not people with any substantial knowledge. Just my opinion. I’m sitting tight looking forward to what’s coming in future months/years.

Mauruzio’s CEO bio from Auryn Mining CORP
Note last sentence

aurizio Cordova, CEO, Board Chairman
Mr. Cordova is a technology and mining entrepreneur from Lima, Peru. He is the founder and creator of SIGAL, the leading environmental, health, and security management software package for the mining industry. Mr. Cordova is the founder of MASGLAS Limited and AURYN Mining Chile, SpA, companies established in Chile to capitalize on the downturn in commodities and consolidate several different projects. Through his efforts AURYN consolidated the Altos de Lipangue mining district, a very promising greenfield project less than 40km from Santiago, Chile, that was fragmented for over 41 years and is now being explored and put into production.

Either Mr. Cordoba spoke out of turn or there is a LOAD of stuff going on in the background that he has chosen not to tell us.

It’s Cordova.

FYI Etrade shows there is 73.2M shares of Auryn Mining outstanding also no trades yet.

I’m not seeing a bid or ask through Fidelity. Anybody else seeing the same?

No bid/ask from Fidelity. Anyone tried to buy any?

Just tried to buy some CDCHD from Fidelity. They took the order but it didn’t get posted.

No bid or ask in td ameritrade either

Ditto on Etrade

CDCH shows the correction of the 100 to 1 RS, but no longer recognizing the symbol

It’s CDCHD for the next 20 days, then changes to AUMC.

FYI…
Past experience shows, stocks don’t always begin trading at market open on the day of their IPO. Please expect delays as the exchange processes all of the orders relating to the offered stock. This means you may not have your order filled until later in the day, so don’t be alarmed if your order isn’t filled right at market open.

Newly public stocks are often more volatile than mature stocks. Prices may change quickly and your order may not be filled even if your order’s limit price is at or above the displayed price.

Why do you think they picked 20 days is there some type of requirement that you have to wait for a certain amount of days before doing another name change…Just trying to think that they will put the more pending news out probably right after the 20 days name change

Auryn didn’t pick 20 days. It’s a Finra regulation.

Bid .10
Ask 55.00

I’ve held MDMN for some time now, a few years, and I honestly had to just stop looking at it since I owned it when it was at 0.20 ish and wish I sold it then. I am just logging in now to check back. Is there like a short summary of what we’re looking at here anyone can give (I Know that’s a kind of ridiculous question, so I understand if it doesn’t get answered).
Are people still positive on this outlook that this might actually crawl back up to decent numbers again?
Again, just wading back into this after about 1-2 years of just letting it sit there red in my portfolio. Probably just going to let it sit there and hope for the best…
