Medinah Minerals (MDMN) - 2016 Q3 - General Discussion (recovered)

“Legitimate, credible, companies, do not conduct their business affairs and communications in this manner. Nobody is doubting the underlying value of this mountain but these types of “events” drive an ever widening disconnect between our market cap and the ultimate upside potential. The “Les” factor just can’t seem to fade into the sunset. Maybe we can all agree to follow AMC’s PR’s at face value.”

The company is trying to address some concerns that shareholders have, what’s wrong with that? you are saying it’s unprofessional when a company does this? They are not credible? There you go again trashing the stock that you are invested in.

Hulkster. In the past I didn’t engage with you on this board and I’ve been quickly reminded why that is the case. You and I are so far apart on everything from basic market sensibilities to fundamentals I don’t think it’s worth wasting your or more time trying to explain my points of view.

The irony, for those who can actually recognize it, is that today’s announcement was a major step backwards to the Medinah of old and it sounds the update was spurred by a shareholder who’s been very vocal about moving forward away from Lesspeak, etc. By continuing to focus on the action and/or rumors of the crooks previously running this company some individuals are stagnating progress.

Again, this is not something I expect you to appreciate so I’ll wish you a pleasant evening and leave it at that.

Unfortunately as Medinah becomes the NEW Medinah there are some shareholders who remain their same old selves where any compaint they can make seems to meet their need to declare their view as the only view. In the case of these shareholders it appears there will be no refreshing change made by them.

Are you talking to yourself?

Please take a few minutes to go back to the beginning of the days post, follow the chain of post, and determine who you might consider those who continue to complain about the investment and those who routinely offer their view as the only acceptable view. It’s up to each of us to decide who we believe is the primary negative commentators in reguard to Medinah and evaluate if we agree with their comments. Your evaluation of the post is up to you. I just wish some here would lean toward cutting the NEW Medinah some slack while they find their footing during the companies own process of moving from what they were to what most here have been looking for during these past years. I see the positive movement and I welcome it.

Wouldn’t that be convenient (for you) to only look at today’s posts. Unfortunately (for you) there is a very long, public, history of you and many others blindly defending our old BOD while criticizing those who raised flags. And now we have to deal with MDMN issuing press releases to address ridiculous questions about “auxiliary agreements” because certain shareholders (like you) ate still clinging on to the old MDMN.

After being wrong for sooooo long it may be time for you , BBoy etc, to recognize that past criticism (read: the BOD must leave) were spot on and maybe current complaints (like today’s romper room press release) have some validity. Doesn’t the share price open your eye’s even a little bit??? Maybe we should just call the market “confused” and continue down the same path that some of you have been on for 20 years?

At least your enjoying your glass “half full” while you sit on a miserably performing investment. Carry on

I suggest you take a sabbatical for the rest of the Summer. You are turning into a grumpy old man before your time.

FYI…the mountain weather has turned nice. The possible Sunday system seems to have mostly disappeared from the models so an extended period of fair weather looks probable.

A restart of operations tomorrow seems quite possible.

One thing I can be certain of, following your suggestions is a fool’s errand.

I’m perfectly content with this investment. I understand why we are trading at these levels and, because I’m looking to buy vs. sell, I have no problem if we stay at depressed prices so I can add when I expect the company to release information that the market will recognize. The market isn’t confused, it’s waiting on the type of information demanded for any mining play to get traction. Now that MDMN has transitioned from a spec penny play (despite many not recognizing this fact) it can no longer feed on your "next weeks,"Chapin’s “trucks at the base of the mountain” or yesterday’s ridiculous press release. Production, proven resources etc. etc…We have a while to wait but I have no doubt it’s coming.

John, please consider Mike’s word’s seriously. His complaint isn’t about your argument it’s about your style.

There isn’t always a right or wrong. Some think the last shareholder notification was necessary, others don’t. A valid argument can be made from either point of view. You’ve made everyone know that you think it was bush league in your inimitable knife twisting sort of way.

My point is this, being a constant source of condescension with a chip on your shoulder who belittles other posters or the company at every opportunity is just as disruptive to a community forum as being a constant Polyanna. You aren’t quite there, but you are definitely bordering on it and moving in that direction (which is basically what Mike is saying.)

You’ve made it clear you don’t think much of The Mining Play community and you are only here for the entertainment value. It may be time to voluntarily find some additional sources of entertainment as Mike suggests. This one seems to be getting to you and it’s becoming disruptive to others.

Sold a little and threw it into another tiny one with a bizillion shares one hundred days ago. Results…? Up 300% on total buys which were finished up yesterday. Up 600%, with yesterday’s buys up 12% on yesterdays buy. I only sold ten percent of the Medinah. I was a real idiot I didn’t do it with all my Medinah!

John,
You said “I’m perfectly content with this investment…”

Below are the many definitions of content from the dictionary.

pleased and satisfied : not needing more
to appease the desires of
to limit (oneself) in requirements, desires, or actions
in a state of peaceful happiness.
a state of satisfaction

Based on your own posts over the years this is not true. Even if we just used your posts from today in the last 3-4 hours you still have a need to direct your ire towards the previous BOD and point out where they failed.

John I understand your need and desire to state your feelings, view and opinions here…however, you are not content as it is defined in the dictionary. If you were you would address MDMN as a great opportunity…to buy as you have addressed CDCH over and over again.

Sometimes it is time to let a sleeping dog lie The old dog MDMN is sleeping and there is no need to resurrect it. It is dead and buried. SO be CONTENT in your opportunity to BUY as you say at these depressed prices.

You are a person who buys and sells stock so…buy and sell stock for you and your clients. Enjoy the opportunity to make money either short or long term…but there is no need to bring up skeletons who have been cremated and no longer walk the earth like zombies.

If its dead there is no need to dig it up. That only makes it stinketh. Lets move on already…Everyone else but you has long ago.

Thank you for taking this in the way in which it is meant. To bring Contentment, Peace and rest to the corpse. Time to be CONTENT John. So be CONTENT.

Benny,

Most of your posts have been constructive. Unfortunately a good number of the knee-jerk responsive ones often do more to harm the psyche of other investors than they do to relieve your anxieties or anger. I beileve that is what @newleaf is trying to communicate to you. Write out what you want to say and let it sit for awhile before posting it. I think that might serve us all well.

You want instant change, instant legal action, instant production, instant . . . Unfortunately that’s not the way the world works.

The new BOD and AURYN have made wonderful progress since coming on board. Yes, a lot more needs to be done. But it’s not going to happen overnight. It will take some time for the mountain’s speaking and AURYN’s good intentions and integrity to overcome what we shareholders and all the onlookers have suffered through.

At $0.012 there is a disconnect. The market is discounting AURYN and the ADL. So be it. I’ve waited the long-term to get to this point. I can wait for the short-term to hear the ADL and AURYN speak. I’ll be patient with you as well because I know when you come around to putting your confidence in AURYN’s integrity and execution you’re going to be a very strong advocate.

Wiz, I usually find my opinion aligned with yours but I strongly disagree with this assessment. Why is it that John is always the one criticised for being disruptive, when there is always a post preceding that is blantantly antagonistic. It is the same as a guy who runs his mouth, gets his teeth knocked out, and accuses the other as the fault of the incident. Johns original comment has merit. To have to address rumors publically simply makes us look ridiculous. A potential investor should be worried that shareholders are unclear on such things, and the implication by nature is that they were formally given a reason to be so. Although I must admit some satisfaction that very publically so many were proven wrong about something some argued and belittled others about for so long. BE is without a doubt, one of the more instructive posters and has been consistently correct on his positions, which I might add are actual positions and not merely rumors passed along.

No worries about us not being aligned on this issue. You make a valid point. Besides, I’d be a really strange person if I was right about everything. No one else I know is. Why should I be any different?

With respect to the need for yesterday’s shareholder notification, I disagree. First it was not a press release it was a notification to existing shareholders. It’s not on the OTC. Second the reason I believe it was necessary is because we all know the things it addressed were not rumors, but statements made by an individual who purportedly represented the company.

I think the buying of JJ’s shares, the closing of MMC, and this update sufficiently ends that era. Now we move forward.

my opinion only

I guess the most unfortunate thing is not the update itself but that the former situation existed that created a need for one to be issued. I am very glad that is all behind us.

I am with you, some want to hold people accountable, I happen to hold those accountable in my heart and mind. I am not willing to put good money into a fight that I believe offer’s little reward.
Also no one on this board has been correct 100% of the time, it’s not even possible, everyone should have the right to follow the poster that they believe is on the closest path to what’s in their own mind’s without criticism… Enjoy

You conveniently didn’t reply to a specific person.

Always leaving an out?

Perhaps we can eliminate weather reports for the summer as well. They really don’t affect the longterm prospects of the stock.

Speaking of buying. You can’t beat today. 0125 or better on the ask. Unless you think we will dip below the 52 week low. Let’s hope .012 is our bottom…

???

FYI…I correctly identified weather as the most likely cause of delays in the start of production for Auryn. The sooner they start production, the sooner this investment should improve by a near unanimous consent of MPers. Hence, that is why I am providing weather forecasts(when there is a potential for delay) for the mountain till further notice. If you don’t like it, I suggest you ignore my posts.
