Medinah Minerals (MDMN) - 2016 Q3 - General Discussion (recovered)

I am not sure how it fits into in the final equation, but I would be surprised if Auryn/Masglas is not participating in purchasing shares at these bargain prices. In the end, I assume that will be a good thing, and will help dry up the float…

Thanks Rick. I especially liked the first Question and Answer.

Masglas/Auryn have plenty of “Skin in the Game”.

Yesterday’s closing: $0.0139

200DMA: $0.0156
Weekly 50 wk ma: $0.0165

$0.0156 for 25% of Auryn implies $84M+ mkt cap for Auryn. That wouldn’t be too far fetched with production starting at 5000 KOz over the next 4 months with 15 gpt+ grades, with plans for 25KOz+ in 2017. That’s a 2,000+ Oz / month pace on only 167 tonnes per day (5000 tonnes per month). There should be plenty of room to grow there.

If grades and tonnes behave as expected and future plans for growing production farther including Fortuna / Merlin 3 without external funding / dilution, it should be a nice up trend from here for quite some time. The outlook should really start to turn positive in Q4/Q1 as Auryn works the mountain and communicates the results of production & exploration.

I suspect some initial production results to be released at the informational meeting on October 1 unless of course the start of production gets delayed. Now only about 11 days away for the Caren mine to be completed. The volume of ore of course will be low but what the grade ends up being will be very interesting. I am hoping for 1 oz/ton + right from the start.

Hi all, thought this interview might be of interest by Brent Cook of Exploration Insights titled: The Real Bull Market is in Discoveries

http://investingnews.com/daily/resource-investing/precious-metals-investing/gold-investing/brent-cook-the-real-bull-market-is-in-discoveries/

He names three companies whose stock has rocketed this year.

Here is a part of the interview:
INN: So, Brent, everyone is so excited that we’re in a bull market now, but where’s the real bull market?

BC: I think, I agree. We are in a bull market. I think what the real bull market is going to be, this is where we’re moving, is in discoveries. Most of the stocks in the GDXJ and GDX have risen altogether.

The problem the industry faces is there are not enough quality deposits, equality economic deposits, to go around. And that’s where the bull market’s really going to take off from here, is in new discoveries. We’re going to have a lot of fun with new discoveries.

INN: All right, interesting. One of the things you always talk about is, you like to find a reason to get out of a stock or not stick around waiting for hope. What are some things that investors can look for? Because I think it’s a good time to reiterate some of your most important points there.

BC: Yeah. I mean, in general, economic ore deposits are very rare beasts in Mother Nature. You’ve got to figure, a lot of things have to come together to make that deposit. And then it’s got to be in the right jurisdiction, the politics have got to be right. All those things come into play.

So, what happens more often than not is, a company will put out some nice results and samples, drill results, whatever, the stock prices start to increase but our job, since we know most of these are going to fail—this is what we really do at Exploration Insights—is identify the fatal flaw if there is one. Be it metallurgy, strip ratio, continuity, access, that sort of thing. Once we start to find these fatal flaws, it’s time to sell and get out and move on to the next one.

So, ironically, we can make really good money on a deposit that never amounts to anything. Occasionally, one keeps getting better. We like that. When they keep getting better, we hold or we can buy more. But those are very rare beasts.

Someone sure likes CDCH today, too …
Is that you Baldy? :open_mouth:
Pending news???

Bought some cdch and mdmn today. Tried all day yesterday to get more mdmn but kept having my bid jumped.

Mdmn seems to be cooling off this afternoon. Maybe another buying op? Glta

Looks like they are over loading the ASK again. Lets see if it gets taken out after lunch

Maybe the shorts are starting to cover.

I am looking forward to the time when we are trading 5-10 million or more shares on a daily basis. It may not be that far away…

Think about it this way if Auryn Masglas south America are buying at these prices which I think they are this float will get even tighter knowing that they own about 500 million shares. Do the MM’s keep printing shares and continue to dig themselves a deeper hole or do they let it run to cover there position. We shall see

Can we cool it with the mm and the short position talk? If it happens, great. If not, this thing will move based on its own merits.

Thank you Belmont!! I agree with you 1000%

Absolutely. They will have to clean their own house if and when that time comes. In the meantime, we’ve been moving up 5% - 15% for a number of days now…been a long time since we could say that. Let’s relax the reins and see what this pony will do on its own.

Please note, AURYN has submitted documents with the Chilean government to officially initiate activity at the ‪#‎CarenMine‬. With continued good weather initial production is scheduled to begin by the end of August.
