Medinah Minerals (MDMN) - 2016 Q3 - General Discussion (recovered)

Jim is very well known with the original group of Medinah investors including myself and has been here since the beginning of time. He has funded Medinah over the years on numerous occasions. If you are interested in having fun in Las Vegas before/after the informational meeting, I suggest you meet up with Jim!

Mike, do you know who Jim O’Callahan is? Thanks…

Yes. Again, most of the original Medinah shareholders know of him or have meet him in person including myself.

I hope that is the answer. I can’t imagine that they sold shares. I was very surprised to see they are listed at 18%

This one is a it curious to me as well. Vital had spent the better part of a decade running a failed company AMNP. Where would he come across the means to purchase so many shares of MDMN?

Unlike Jim O’ who was one of many insiders who financed the MDMN piggybank for sub sub penny shares I don’t remember seeing Vittal ever being mentioned. Maybe there are other circles beyond (JJ/Les/Chapin) to clawback shares? Or maybe VK legitimacy amassed 75M shares. Hopefully the audit will address all of the above.

(Also interesting to note that Les is still nowhere to be found. Gotta wonder when he sold the balance of his position)

Shares capped at 1.5B - That’s a big number.

Do we get a special rate at the Mirage?

I don’t post here ever but have been with MDMN forever. I work for the parent company that owns The Mirage and can get Friends & Family rates for anybody that wants a discount. Although I don’t know if we can send messages to each other here because I wouldn’t want everyone’s personal info out on a public message board, I can send a link to the rates but the link requires a first and last name, number of rooms you want, and an email address you want the link to go to. The same goes for the shows also, although that’s a different link that I can send.

We are such a small group by Vegas standards, I doubt we get any break that I know of, but thanks BearDown for your offer! I already booked thru AARP and got some free buffets. (offer is over, I believe) And I booked a Friday night show using MGM’s MLife membership which discounts the more expensive seats (and rooms). There is a PM function here so if you click on the person’s circle you get an option to “message” them. Your mailbox is an envelope that shows up when you click on your own circle at the top right of page.

Since a few people have asked about the rates I can get at The Mirage, I’m seeing $204 for Friday night and $220 for Saturday night, which seems a little high to me. There must be a big event in the city, and I’m guessing it’s not because of MDMN’s informational meeting. Sunday night is $108 if you stay over.

As always, need to keep the facts straight. Vittal did receive a 2 million share per year salary. The rest of the shares he bought. Best I can tell, all of Vittal’s shares are legitimate. FYI…he was a large shareholder before he was a Director as well.

Vittal’s shares might include his family’s also

That’s correct. I spoke with him at one point and indirectly suggested he give back the shares he got as a result of his position with mdmn. yea, right…Given the circumstances, it might (imo) have been the right thing to do.

If he has that large a position, maybe he should be paying the Company for the right to have his hand on the steering wheel.

The complaining around here has settled down to a manageable level in my opinion. Here’s 10 reasons why that’s a good thing.

Top 10 Reasons Why Constant Complaining Is So Toxic

1: It makes things look worse than they are
2: It becomes a habit
3: You get what you focus on
4: It leads to onedownmanship
5: It makes people despondent
6: It kills innovation
7: It favors negative people
8: It promotes bad relationships
9: It creates cliques
10: Pessimism is bad for you

Number 10 is NOT correct:

In any case, hard not to be optimistic about Medinah’s near future.

(Weather check…continues to look good indefinitely…every reason to think the Caren will open per Auryn’s schedule.)
