That’s right. What ever happened to the piles of ore they said they were stock piling at the LDM? I wonder.
maybe thats why first thing Auryn did was hire a security firm. Good move it seems
Right you are George! Right on the MASGLAS site it is stated:
The most recent mining activities happened in 2012, when Medinah Minerals executed some exploitation from the sulfides ore.
Rest assured that Maurizio is quite aware of the situation regarding at the very least, the LDM. Early exploitation is referenced on the MASGLAS site. If restitution is due it will be recovered, if possible, IMO. There may be more than just the LDM exploitation that is not mentioned.
You can see the ore leaving in this video: Truck from Lipangue to Til Til 3 - YouTube
I’m sure if there was any profits realized, it went right into Juan’s pocket.
Wow really?! Makes me sick! We all got robbed!! Another reason for this guy to be thrown in jail.
Did they even have the right permits to extract this ore at the time?
Is it just me or is this the 1st time this video is coming out from MG?
Another load Truck from Lipangue to Til Til 1 - YouTube
This video was posted here before. It was taken by Geologist Abel. They sent ore to Til Til to see if the Mill there could handle/optimize or otherwise figure out how to extract the ore and how much to charge for doing it. I would have thought a truck load or two would have been enough to accomplish this so doesn’t really explain what happened to the big ore pile that was evident on aerial photos. It is possibly that it wasn’t worth much if we assume Juan lied about the assay results of the ore or otherwise provided assays results that were done in a unrepresentative way. If the assays results were really representative, one would think Auryn would make LDM more of priority than it has been to date.
If the information concerning assay results and any cash exchange, either to or from Til Til, is not in the paperwork transferred to Medinah NA from Medinah Chile then it should not be much of a problem for Medinah NA to request invoices from Til Til to clear up the history.
Anything going on with Medinah Chile has always hidden by Les/Juan. (Nuoco as well for that matter.)
In any case, looking at old photos of the LDM, hard to draw any conclusions. Can’t really tell an ore pile from a waste pile so don’t really know if any significant amount of ore was removed or not or even if it was generated in the first place.
Probably best to just let the audit run its course and to be sure to ask these questions at the informational meeting.
I always thought Bogdan was the slimy one…maybe they can share a cell
Well, at least you can see a truck leaving. Ore, maybe, maybe not.
Can anyone detail what these men have done?
Besides robbing us really nothing
You are certainly entitled to assume innocence until proven guilty and I explicitly stated that if Vittal rightfully acquired those shares “more power to him”. As you stated you don’t know. Neither do I. What I do know, for certain, is that shares were treated by insiders like free food stamps in both CDCH and MDMN. Perhaps the sleaziness was limited to JJ and Les but that doesn’t excuse the Chapins and Vitalls (and Hoffmans) of the world who had positions of oversight. Related to AMNP it’s highly naive to think that Vittal didn’t understand exactly what was going on with the MDMN Gold wash and I’m happy to explain the specifics offline. Every single time I or anybody else has given any of these directors the benefit of the doubt it’s come right back in their face.
So yes, I’ll throw out a little skepticism when 75 million shares are suddenly disclosed after all of these years. That is a huge position to buy in the open market and there ain’t no way most of the shares were recently bought. It sure would have been nice to see a filing of insider buying hit the tape.
IMO, either the informal audit or (if needed) a formal audit will provide evidence of improprieties beyond most of our wildest imaginations. If guys like Vittal have their hands clean, good for them but also shame on them for letting this circus proceed right under their noses.
To be clear, my comments have nothing to do with dwelling on the past. While I’d admittedly have some personal satisfaction seeing JJ and Les behind bars, I’m way more focused on returning shares to the treasury (read: positive impact on my investment). The endless debates of the past between those criticizing vs defending the BOD was long ago settled.
Less shares outstanding and obvious progress being made on the mountain are all that matters at this point.

I would dispute your statement based on your last couple of years of negativity towards anyone that has disagreed with you. Right or wrong, your posts have constantly dwelled on the past and casting blame.
Let’s focus on the future for this investment. The audit will correct what can be corrected. While I don’t defend the past BOD’s actions, I’m thankful we have a new BOD and feel confident that AURYN and MASGLAS will at least bring all current shareholders whole when all is said and done. Dwelling on the past has done nothing to advance this investment forward. Those just now getting in will be doing more than well with our current BOD. The focus should be on where we are headed, not where most everyone here has been whether its 5, 10, 15 years or more.
I want to know where this investment will be in 6 months, a year and in 5 years. Can you answer that for everyone? Perhaps we will gain some insight after the Chile Explore Conference and the Informational Meeting that is just a short time away. Will you be attending?
The most positive post of yours I can remember is this one:
Continuing the discussion from MDMN - 2016-05-16 Weekly Discussion:
While the past cost of lost opportunity has stung many here, the future is what shareholders have to look forward to. I think everyone here looks forward to exiting with a decent return. Onwards and upwards as I heard you say a while back! ![]()

Easy. You seem to feel the need to respond to every one of my posts. While I’m flattered you may have noticed I have no interest in doing the same. Partly b/c I can’t understand the majority of the points you are trying to convey and partly b/c I don’t have the desire/patience to reply to all of the questions you direct to me in your posts or PMs. You can agree to disagree with my points and your silence will be confirmation of the same. Best of luck.
Well, easymillion, I think that you are so well versed with this investment, the mountain and all of the players and I enjoy every single post that you put out there.
However, I don’t agree that BE is always negative posting as much as he is telling it how it is. Shooting from the hip, if you will.
Most people find it difficult to digest harsh truths but they are still truths, regardless.
Would I like a friendlier (rub your tummy) dialog from BE? Absolutely!
Could BE do that? Probably not.
I’ve been passively accumulating more shares the last 2 weeks…all at the bid.
I picked up some more at .0146 today (.0145 yesterday). I would’ve waited another week or so to see if I could get any in the .013s, but with the Chilean spring approaching and Auryn working on completing the Caren, I wanted to take advantage of these prices while I can. I’ve kept some powder dry only if there is a drop down to the mid-to-low .013s. I’m not trying to time the bottom, but I think we’re in the midst of the bottom and heading upward, both fundamentally and technically.
I have been doing the same, I have put a little away just in case we drop before the boom, but I don’t think it will go much lower as September is around the corner. Never did I imagine I would have such a large position today and feel very fortunate to have been able to do so. I am probably one of only a few that is happy the way things have gone and the future we have with Auryn, I feel very comfortable at this time especially after a 14 year roller coaster ride, could this now be the beginning of the end. 14 years and the mountain is still the same, only difference are the players and we have better people sitting at our table today, who could be upset about that.
