I want everyone to know I’m clicking on the Meet a Beautiful Asian Tonight
Icon. Not to meet a “Beautiful Asian” but to help the site survive. I want to make my intentions clear. Now, If I happen to meet a Beautiful Asian, I’ll let you know. My DD has no boundries.
…BTW…I like Tuesdays.
Just waiting for those winning powerball numbers then will buy more.
Off topic: HRick, Roll Tide!!
Roll Tide!!! What a game!
I expect news today.
God luv ya Mike. If your speculation is correct again today,I will never doubt your sources again.
But seriously, the recent discussions about rhenium on site is incredible development.
It was expected yesterday, but since it didn’t come, it’s really expected today, then again on Thursday. But if we don’t get it today and Thursday, I’m looking for it Wednesday and Friday. Then more after the trip to Chile.
Actually, I didn’t really expect yesterday but couldn’t rule it out.
Mike, I remember a while back (a couple years ago?) you were talking about another surprise as far as the metals our guys found - were you talking about the rhenium back then?
No. Don’t recall but likely it had to do with the LDM. With copper in the toilet, I assume that LDM won’t be on the fast track until after Medinah is gone or otherwise morphed into a new investment so won’t bother giving it much thought/discussion anymore.
I guess I’ll “be that guy” b/c nobody else likes to shoot MDMN unicorns that keep showing up BUT the market/business of rare earths is dead at the moment. Nobody is getting any value of in-ground moly, rhenium (a byproduct of Moly), etc. and they won’t during your lifetime in this investment. This isn’t b/c they aren’t extremely valuable nor have big end market for these metals but it’s simply not economic to mine them unless you are in China or Kasakhstan without any environment constraints or you are massive operation like Codelco where the volume of production allows you to build a rare earth recovery circuit.
Some rare earth darlings: Molycorp (MCP) Avalon (AVL), Rare Earth Elements (REE), US Rare Earths (UREE)
Shhh . . . some others of us realized it too but didn’t want to burst the bubble . . . the more people who think we’re going to $353 the better.
So Doc, providing BE’s post is correct (and I don’t see why not) could we potentially build “a rare earth recovery circuit” like Codelco?
Otherwise why all the fuss about this discovery?
$353/shares?!?

I’ll be mulri-Billionaire
Ugh…it’s not the rare earth metal itself…but just another marker that a large mineralized porphyry system is near surface at the base of the mountain.
I think I can cover this one to a small extent Roberto… To get to a useful end product, rare earths require much more processing than do the precious metals Auryn appears to be engaged with us for. I never really educated myself on the processing of rare earths to any great degree, but I do understand that to make the endeavor worth while, there would have to be a high concentration of specific rare earths, in particular those referred to as “heavy”, in the ground to make them worth mining, and then the process of separating them out from the rest of the stuff in the ground is quite tedious and fairly complicated. It involves a chemical process which, as I understand it, is rather complex and complicated.
I remember the original discussion about rare earths in regards to MDMN several years ago and I was then excited about it because I was investing in rare earth companies. They all made a decent run and have since all collapsed in price, most of them in the pennies. I still hold one I felt was the most promising of the small companies, Tasman Metals, and it’s currently trading at .17. I would have thought it would be a decent acquisition but thus far I thought wrong! I didn’t read any previous post here regarding the rare earth potential for MDMN, but as someone who was an investor in the sector and was once excited about the potential, it doesn’t interest me at all at this time. Maybe I’m just missing something though.
To kill a unicorn “Only one who has nothing to lose, and everything to gain, would commit such a crime. The blood of a unicorn will keep you alive, even if you are an inch from death, but at a terrible price. You have slain something so pure and defenceless to save yourself, you will have but a half-life, a cursed life, from the moment the blood touches your lips.”
I get it…another marker…just trying to avoid yet another discussion on the value of our moly deposit for those trying to place value on the potential upside of rare earths.
somehow it doesn’t surprise me that you would follow up with a unicorn quote…
It does not surprise me that you would shoot one without out understanding what it means. Everyone knows rare earths metals are in the dumper too along side with PM.
