CHG, i agree, they seem to pushing hard on near term production. While it was not pps moving, it shows good progress on the things they need to do. These are not amaturs
Auryn’s environmental consultant:
Don’t get me wrong. All for positive news and AMC moving the project forward. But the real key for us is AMC taking a larger position in MDMN. We want their interests aligned with ours. The more shares of MDMN they own, the more that is the case.
Could we all - once and for all - drop “the seller is back” announcements and just let it be what it is. What, pray tell, is gained by this incessant obsession with the minute to minute incremental rises and falls with the ps…check in at the end of the day. That’s where we’ll probably start tomorrow. Until the news is sufficiently momentous to get the markets attention, the day to day ps watch is pointless.
Looks like I was the sucker of the day…I had an order in for 200k at .019 (AON)…It took about 15 minutes, but they filled it, which surprised me…I hope I can’t buy it cheaper tomorrow…The seller is still lurking…I guess I will NEVER learn…The ask is now .0173…
Wow look at the customer list

As a reminder, this is the result of the process announced on Sept 17, 2015:
AURYN is about to commence an Environmental Management Plan of the entire property by a consulting group. This study will ascertain the state of the property now in the areas of aquatics, flora and fauna, hydrogeology, air quality, water quality, and geochemistry (acid rock drainage and metal leaching prediction). These specialists will provide timely input for AURYN to protect the environment while enhancing the efficiency of the project permitting process, yet to be initiated. {1}
At that time they also announced:
Drilling will start the second week of October, 2015. The goal is to prioritize the best exploitation targets.
Obviously, that decision changed but is about to get underway. Perhaps they did not require drilling to “prioritize the exploitation (aka production - chg) targets”
Medinah just stated that on the trip to Chile staring next week that:
Medinah Minerals, Inc., and Medinah Mining Chile Board Members will travel to the Altos de Lipangue claims plateau to conduct thorough physical on-site inspections and … also review AURYN Mining Chile, SpA’s proposed production site locations. {2}
IMO, we are going to be told some specifics of their production plans in the near future. Every release is hinting at it now. Drilling will be necessary for any 43-101 type reports they will create and will probably also start soon.
Perhaps the plan is to see what kind of cash flow can be generated from an actual on-going mining operation before Auryn decides to go all in.
Looks like a big global shake coming. Maybe those in the know can see a bullish market for gold soon.
Dec 2015 - trading volumes
Monthly volume = 54M - the largest month of 2015. The highest going back to July and May 2014 - with the Auryn Option contract announcement
NITE really picked up its volume with 17M. The next highest volume months in 2015 had been 12M in Sept & Nov.
ETRF really picked up its volume with 12M. The next highest month in 2015 had been 6.6M in Aug.
CDEL was 9.9M, a sizeable pickup from the recent lower months. This was the biggest month in 2015 except for Sept.
Clearest conclusion is: activity is picking up.
My supercycle newsletter has been saying the same thing, but also claims that Europe and Japan will be the first to fall and then there will be a rush into the US dollar and the US stock markets. So they are still forecasting at least one more leg up before the US too collapses. . I would imagine that if and when this happens it will be a good time or bottom for gold stocks. JMO
There is a rumored Corporate announcement pending. Could be any day. It’s in Auryns total control. No use speculating when it’s coming.
I am more focused on the early production opportunities and the Notorio visits next week that will make that possible.
Given the meetings next week and the meeting Monday to resolve the JJ issue regarding 170 MILLION SHARES, I doubt they issue any update in the next couple of days.
Couple of things to add.
The environmental map yesterday pretty much outlined the area of the mountain that we need to be concerned with likely for the rest of our investment timeline.
I carefully looked at the map and compared it to the current claims map and virtually all the area of the map is under the control of Medinah besides the South Eastern corner and the area very close to the Eastern border of the study area. (i.e 90% of the veins/vein traces appear to be on Medinah’s claims…an important point regarding pending production agreements.)
The other is that what the environmental study completed; that completes the work needed to satisfy Chilean government requirements. I suspect Medinah will sign production contracts next week and then production on the mountain is a go.
Mike are you still expecting some kind of update today? Thanks
Mike, thanks for your continued dd and opinions of Auryn’s exploration progress.You are one of a handful of posters who are very valued on this forum.
Just a question. About the claims within the environmental map. I noticed the Fortuna mine on the right of the boundary. To what extent are the CDCH claims within the environmental boundary?
I currently do not know when Auryn will be putting out the much anticipated corporate update other than very soon etc.
About 10% of the environmental study area appears to be on the Cerro side of the fence.
