Medinah Minerals (MDMN) - 2016 Q3 - General Discussion (recovered)

I believe Les tried to get his hands on Cerro and get the A/S raised there, didn’t he? Was a couple years ago. Really glad now that didn’t work out for him.

fwiw: The A/S are 500M for Cerro. Only 276M issued. According to official filings anyway… With a Day as a director of CDCH - the risk would be sky high if that 276M number was in error.

Alligators took a huge bite out of shareholders. As I said earlier:
"If you’re up to your “arss” in alligators, it’s hard to remember that your original mission was to drain the swamp!"
AURYN/MASGLAS is cleaning up the mess left behind by the former MDMN. For anyone that hasn’t noticed, the swamp is continuing to be methodically drained. Let’s hope we are on dry ground going forward. Aside from not being in a financial position to host an official SHM, perhaps this is the reason for an Informational Meeting being held, instead. Could this misreporting have been revealed after the issuer requested a NOBO/OBO list in preparation for proxy voting? No online shareholder proxy voting until the swamp has been completely drained, IMO, thus no TO until the mess is resolved.

Great, more drama.

I guess we can all say the Damage has been done by these crooks See.01! Thank you to Auryn who has now pressed the Reset button for us to move “Onward and Upward”.

Understandable for folks to take this news kind of hard, however I don’t understand the thought process of viewing this news as a negative. The news itself is rather uplifting to me and shows me how committed these guys are to seeing this project through. The past sucked and no one would debate that at all, but we are moving forward and no one with realistic expectations had to of been expecting a S/P pop anytime soon, minus a slight increase with SHM coming up.

How many times have I heard this in the last six years. So ridiculous.

infinite look at the releases from Auryn and the photos from the Caren mine preparation. It’s all there if you want to believe Auryn.

Hard to view as negative? Interesting. I Had to get share price to .05 to break even in this pig (under prior share issuance) - I thought that pssible in the next 12 to 24 months.

How likely is it to get to .05 given today’s revelations? Twice as hard I would guess.

What else could go wrong now you might ask? Plenty my friend…plenty. This is Medinah.

Does Medinah operate for free? I don’t think so.

You want me to see the finish line…the promised land. But all I can think of is that people die of thirst all the time walking lost in a desert…and it could very well be that the oasis is just over the very next sand dune…but many still won’t make it.

Today’s drop will invariably lead to margin calls in the coming days/weeks. And who is going to be interested in touching this with a 10 foot pole given the malfeasance we have seen.

I cannot understand how Les issued MDMN shares and pocketed the $. Somebody please tell me that Auryn has a warrant issued for his arrest. I just want him to be finally held accountable for this criminal action. We all now know that he is nothing but a con man who should do jail time . And probably Juan too. Oh my, oh my.

White collar crime penaltys in North America suck. I like what the Chinese do to them… Must be the Scottish coming out in me😜

I just want Les and Juan to pay for what they have done. We have put up with their b/s for way too long. I am sure Auryn is not going to let them get away with this crime against MDMN and themselves. We can only hope.

We will work tirelessly to redact, rescind and return to the Company all shares inappropriately issued.

Could someone please explain me how Auryn and Medinah can accomplish the above stated intention? All those extra shares were sold and bought by unsuspecting shareholders. How can Auryn return the unauthorized issued shares if these now belong to shareholders?

Doc where art thou?

What happens if you buy a stolen car? I think you as the buyer are SOL.

Obviously this is a complicated situation, but I would think the shares would have been privately placed to start.

I tip my hat to the several posters (leanandgreen, most recently) who attempted — since something was so PLAINLY out of whack here — to conduct an accurate share-count census among board members but were repeatedly shouted down by Smart Money Kamboomists and others who cautioned against scaring new investors away from this solid proposition of ours (MDMN — “the mountain” — “the glorious infallible mountain”) and who said (sneeringly, and while flinging vicious handful after vicious handful of love-it-or-leave it) that a share count was not worth pursuing, would be counter-productive, would cause the share price to tank, and that everything was in good hands now, etc., etc., etc.

I also tip my hat to the many who were shouted down (or banned from the board) for having been “whiners” and “bashers” and for not having produced “any due diligence of their own” — this accusation was most often hurled by folk(s) who have provided inaccurate due diligence almost daily and who, during my five infinite-seeming years here, have made an endless string of absolutely worthless (and wrong!) predictions and never once coughed up an apology…

It takes great fortitude to stand up in the face of people who claim scientific expertise and inside knowledge, and while I had no such fortitude, I do recognize that several people here DID and DO have such fortitude, and I feel ashamed for not having supported them vocally here on the board… We have been completely dis-served by the people on this board who have been promoting this stock, and we let ourselves be had — well, I’ll speak for myself: I let myself be had…

Way back when it was asked if we might all send our prayers to Les, as he was being driven to the emergency room (by JJ!), because Les had just injured himself by “falling down the stairs” of his Santiago hotel while he was heading off to cut the final deal with Ulander (or was it Bogdan?)… I’m ashamed of myself… How can I ever outlive this shameful episode?

So far, not a single person has gone wrong by betting against this venture. If we’d had a right/wrong scorekeeper during the past five infinite-seeming years, the scoreboard might read:

“Whiners” and “Bashers”: 10,000
"Smart Money": Zero
