Is the mining still progressing at about 8 meters per day or has that changed since the picture shows no timbering is currently being done
How far is it from the floor to the ceiling in the new section with no timbering/

The reason no timbers are being done is because theyāre in nice competent rock. About 8m per day is right - some days more, some less.
I donāt know exactly how far floor to ceiling. From the pictures Iām guessing about 10-12 feet.

Iām posting this in response to Whateverās post, but itās really to the entire MP audience. If you correspond with me as IR, please donāt post emails without my permission. At a minimum make sure you have a discussion with me and get the proper context. Also, please be sure you properly quote me if you have permission to.

Whatever is drawing incorrect conclusions from my email. These are narrow veins. You cannot extrapolate out the full size of the tunnel and count that as mineralized ore at any grade.
In addition, I donāt know the exact mining plan. MC stated at the meeting that the mining plan is being adjusted. He stated that they will start very slowly based on the recent discoveries and make sure everything is done correctly and they know the best path forward before scaling up production. He stated that for now AURYN is sticking with their forward looking statements regarding 2016 and 2017 production and will adjust if necessary as things progress.
AURYN advised the public that the forecast for 2016 was 5,000 ounces. I would suggest you stick with that unless and until AURYN advises otherwise. Giving people the impression that AURYN is mining 2,000 tpm @ 4 oz/t (8,000 oz/mo) based on my short email is irresponsible and wrong. It does no good to anyone, creates false hopes and expectations, and only ends up harming MEDINAH and its shareholders.
I donāt want to castigate Whatever. What I want to do is use this as a educational point so that MEDINAH and its shareholders donāt repeat the mistakes of the past regarding rumors and speculations.
My response indicates that when AURYN is in competent rock and advancing they can advance at approximately 8m a day. That doesnāt mean they are advancing everyday. Nor does it mean they are in competent rock everyday. Nor does it mean that every 8m they advance is in mineralized ore. Much will depend on the mining plan which is still being developed and the alterations in the mineralization, which is an unknown.
We shareholders have often made the mistake of contacting the rumor mill, taking the best possible case of a rumor, and then inflating it from there. Please, letās allow that practice to die with the old MEDINAH.

There is no new advancing being done. The 8 m per day refers to re-habbing the old drifts-scaling, roof bolting, screening and re-timbering where necessary,
Since production has begun according to Aurynās CEO, there is new advancing somewhere. They arenāt just picking up loose rocks on the floor and calling that production.
The immediate stated goal at the meeting was to run 3 truck loads through metallurgical tests and make some decisions on appropriate processing methods: direct shipping, concentration and shipping, and perhaps longer term local processing.
And the 12/31/16 stated goal was and is 5000 Oz. There are 2.5 months left to attain that goal and less than that given the upcoming end of year holidays. 5000 Oz @ 34 g/t is about 4600 tonnes. If grades are higher, somewhat fewer tonnes. But itās still much more than a pickup load or two.

Corn Not looking to star a peeing match here but I guarantee that they are not making 8 m of fresh development advance from a single heading in any given day. Not possible. You saw the photo-it was an old timbered heading. Advance would include scaling, new timber sets, maybe some bolting and screening. Definitely not drilling and blasting and advancing 8 m per day. The company as well never said that they were developing at 8 m per day.
Yes,at the informational meeting Auryn Mining Chile DID say they were advancing 8 meters per day. An earlier post by wizard tells us that they are now in competent rock and the timbering is not required.
The part you described is, at present, behind us and was the reason for the delay in achieving production.
Letās stay current on the progress and not interpret pictures and comments on this board out of context.

Neither did I. No mentioned of 8m of development per day by me. Nor any pissing going on by me. Just reporting on what the company has stated publicly.
However, the 8m per day figure was mentioned by Maurizio at the meeting without detailed explanation although when I heard it, to me it sounded to me like new development. This was mentioned alongside the comment that they were 71m in as of the Sat. of the meeting date. As was stated by someone else, this does not mean every day is the same. As we know, when they hit the fractured rock they were making very slow progress. Maurizio said: āliterally centimeters per dayā
They also showed us video on Saturday of drilling that was being done to set blasting explosives. We were told this video was of drilling which was occurring the day before that Sat, that is, on Friday. And we were shown this video explicitly as part of the message that āproduction has startedā. So unless something changed, this has been going on for two weeks as of today.
This was all stated and shown by Maurizio in the afternoon session of the public meeting.

I wonder if and when the legal arm of the law could stop Les from trading MDMN. ( If it happened I would think he has someone else to trade MDMN for him.) As obvious as it appears he committed a felony I would like to see legal action of some sort against him now than a year from now.

Perhaps a trading halt is not such a bad idea until these shares and crooks behind it are identified.

Les - Hereās some food for thought.
The legal process to get you is going to take some time. Please donāt feel a sense of urgency in dumping the remaining shares you hold. You can unload the remaining position you hold slowly and make a lot more money. In fact, if you wait until thereās some good production numbers and you can probably double your money.
A trading halt is the absolute worst idea possible. If the SEC steps in and halts trading, MDMN heads to the gray sheets upon resumption of trading and then we truly are finished. As I have stated on this forum, I filed a complaint against Les, NOT MDMN. Iād like him to be sanctioned which would could possibly stop his ability to trade. We do not want MDMN shut down - we want Les and only Les halted. If the rumor of his admission of forgery and stack fraud is true, Gary should continue to hound the SEC until they do something. The problem is that government wheels turn slowly and I fear that they wonāt be able too act quickly enough.
