Medinah Minerals (MDMN) - 2017 Q2 General Discussion

Remember the old Medinah, when we would wait forever for news, members were putting pics of a skeleton on his pc, hoping we will not return to this.

Auryn what’s going on with the following?

Why are you asking this on the MDMN board, seems that’s a question for Auryn’s board??

In a way, Auryn is us,we are Co-owners of Auryn.

It doesn’t matter, looking for answers from Auryn on this board is just whining (which many are getting tired of). Either give information as to what you have heard from Auryn’s website, or Medinahs website… Show where you’re trying to communicate with them… Or give it a rest… I and many others have tried to get answers but to no avail… Try doing your do diligence before posting.

If anybody reading these boards continiues to have expectations for a quick pop this is NOT the right investment. For those who are willing to exercise patience there’s a real opportunity to realize significant gains. BUT we still need to clear several hurdles. My only advice: check into this board and the company’s website on occasion (once a month). If/When things finally materialize you will be happy with some dollar amount that exceeds your current value.[/quote]

If the silence goes on much longer, one probably should conclude that Auryn(with Medinah following their lead) is being quiet for strategic reasons. And no, I think it is way to soon for any pre-IPO quiet period.

The only things that come to mind on the reasons why include:

  1. Something to do with Les. (Although this would be more of a Medinah reason than a Auryn one.)
  2. Something to do with Cerro (Silence probably hurts Cerro right now with their efforts to raise money. If they fail, Auryn will end up with another 4% chunk of the mountain.)
  3. Something to do with a new potential JV partner.
  4. They simply haven’t completed another milestone yet that is worth telling us about.

“4) They simply haven’t completed another milestone yet that is worth telling us about.”

They could tell us what has been going on the mountain for the past 4 months.

That wouldn’t hurt.

Yes it could if nothing worth mentioning has occurred since their last update.

Ideally, it would be nice for them to be able to announce that they have intersected the bonanza grade gold vein in the production tunnel, starting shipping it and have assay results to boot. Might be worth waiting until this milestone has been completely done as oppose to splitting it up into more than one news release as incremental progress is made.

If Auryn would do that for Cerro’s 4%, then no ethics would be present with them to cause restraint from doing the same to Medinah’s much larger 27%

IMO there is a big difference between Auryn working with Kevin vs the Days who helped Les release so many fraudulent shares of mdmn
At least Cerro kept somewhat of a lid on share count but I don’t see any way Days couldn’t have known what Les was up to.

All involved are guilty, knowingly or not, I couldn’t care less if it was purposeful or stupidity, there was a responsibility to shareholders which failed. Which leads us to Auryn, it is cdch holders that are ultimately hurt by what would be highly unethical actions (all of which are presumably mdmn holders as well). I see no difference between the two, if Auryn ultimately pursues the stripping of cerro’s percentage, then I logically would expect a similar course of action with regards to mdmn, which is to say actions that benefit Auryn, punish insiders, and rob legitimate shareholders. I’m sure Auryn’s buddies holding mdmn could easily be compensated with a portion of the stolen percentage. If their character and ethics don’t restrain them I don’t expect anything else to.

This doesn’t make sense to me. The perfect time to accomplish this would have been now. Why would they advance $2,000,000 and save Medinah when all they had to do was remain silent; not loan any money; and leave us to twist in the wind. They bent over backwards with very generous terms - no interest - no due for several years. It’s obvious to me that just the opposite is true. They will do what is necessary (within reason) to save the Medinah shareholders.

Kevin was very clear about the situation with Cerro on the other thread and why it is being handled differently than Medinah. More or less there is nothing further to discuss about it. I suggest you re-read what the Wizard said and call it a day.

Either you are ethical or you are not. . The only ones I believe should be strip of anything is all the board of directors of MDMN past and all those that received Auryn shares via the private deal with Nuoco. I believe the private Nuoco deal shares should all go back to MDMN. JMO

On another topic shouldn’t we know by now whether our request to disqualify our previous lawyers from representing Les due to conflict of interests has been ruled on?

With all the trust you place in auryn you should be careful someone doesn’t steal half your investment from you. Oh never mind, too late…

I’ve read it, which is why I posted what I did. The reasons behind unethical actions do not justify it.

Another month gone by and nothing from Auryn. I sent a message through messenger on FB but they have totally removed a contact page from their website? Is there any way that we can express our views as shareholders to them? Hello Auryn?? now on the other hand look how nice this company is communicating with their shareholders.

Pretium Resources: Commissioning Under Way At Brucejack Mine

Monday May 01, 2017 07:51

Pretium Resources Inc. (TSX, NYSE: PVG) reports that wet commissioning is nearing completion at its Brucejack Mine in northern British Columbia. Commercial production is targeted for this year. Commissioning was initiated in April and the first ore has been introduced to the process in preparation for production, the company says. Construction of underground infrastructure, including the crusher, rock breaker, feeder, electrical substation, conveying system and transfer towers, is “substantially complete” and commissioned, Pretium reports. Power from a 57-kilometer transmission line connecting the Brucejack Mine to the BC Hydro power grid is now fully integrated and powering the entire mine site.

Underground development continues and a hand-over from the construction team to the operations team has occurred, Pretium reports. More than 187,000 tonnes of ore has been stockpiled. A feasibility study has outlined proven and probable mineral reserves in the Valley of the Kings of 8.1 million ounces of gold, according to the company’s website

Apples vs oranges, or rather Public vs private. We are not Auryn shareholders. They have no obligation nor accountability to MDMN shareholders so contacting them will most likely be fruitless, if not a dead end.

Auryn is only accountable to its direct shareholders (I.e. MDMN, MASGLAS, et al).
Being a private company, the extent of that accountability is dictated by Auryn’s BOD, though shareholders should not be left in an extended information vacuum IMO, but if you’ve ever been a private investor in a company, you will realize that information flow is rarely consistent nor frequent. If you have a complaint or suggestion regarding the amount and nature of the information, it should be directed to MDMN (Kevin), not Auryn.
