Auryn/Medinah 2026 1st half General Discussion

Just have to have some fun as part of the community, nothing to do with anything else I do. But gold futures just cut through 5500 like it was butter.

Freaking amazing!

Maybe back to the Gold Standard? Lot of fiat currencies that need to be backed by hard assets!

Well we do have a chance…..08 to .12 would be a good start. Let it trade maybe.

New monetary era. Throw away Keynesian economics. It is a macroeconomic theory that emerged during the Great Depression. Modern monetary theory has also been replaced practically overnight! … Welcome to The Fourth Turning! yikes!

Yes, I would agree to let it trade, wouldn’t it be great to get back to .16 like it was back in the day, one can only dream.

Triffins Dilemma: Testifying before the U.S. Congress in 1960, economist Robert Triffin exposed a fundamental problem in the international monetary system. If the United States stopped running balance of payments deficits, the international community would lose its largest source of additions to reserves.

Anyone paying attention to the rise in copper prices?

Copper Was Supposed To Be Boring — Instead It’s Breaking The System

Benzinga · Jan-28-2026 3:08 PM ET

Copper was supposed to be boring, cyclical, and dependable. Companies would dig more when prices rise, pull back when they fall. But that playbook is breaking down, and that shift has been decades in the making.

Between 2015 and 2025, major copper discoveries were not just fewer, they were smaller. The industry couldn’t find deposits that moved the needle. Exploration budgets recovered after 2020, but the results didn’t. The world is no longer stumbling across Escondidas or Grasbergs. Most “new” copper today comes from drilling deeper, wider, or longer around deposits that were already known decades ago.

This is important news! Keep an eye on copper prices!

Maybe they SPECIFIED that day (January 30, 2026) because that’s the day Serangeomin is supposed to show up for inspection? Would be epic if that’s the case.

So, is today the big day that the floatation plant is completed? Seems unlikely they will meet their target. If we go back to the latest photos Auryn provided, at a minimum, one can see that the pad for the electrical generators was still completely empty so would be a tall order just to complete that section in the few days since they released the photos.

Also note that if they complete the plant, they still need to complete the tailings facility prior to production which was something like only 25% done at last check. If you look at the photo, it is clear that all the moving of dirt around isn’t done yet nor the installation of all important liner which takes quite a bit of time to install correctly.

Yes, a little more patience. The waiting does suck with gold at $5000 and even modest amounts of production will be able to pay off the debt and quickly make this a very profitable operation.

Friday was a bad way to end the week. $2 pps floor didn’t hold and gold got clobbered back down under $5k oz.

Let’s get that $2 floor to stick and im sure gold will continue its ascent sooner rather than later.

Here’s to an exciting week and hopefully an announcement from the company!

As always, thanks Bubba for posting the pics.

Too lightly traded for a floor yet. Let’s see what happens once production starts!

Based on the photos, they certainly made a lot of progress on the Tailings Facility last week and lots of new additions in the flotation plant. Their work pace almost seems frantic to me trying to wrap things up. Nice!

They are incentivized economically to proceed post haste - this should provide doubters with all the confirmation they need that management’s interests are aligned with ours!

L’aissez les bon temps rouler! (as they say in Louisiana)
