Got one for NPER ??? LOL
Trading day 100416 9:48 EST
HA ! Good one.
May be off topic but there is still an nper board and a misguided primate still pounding out platitudes on a keyboard.
Off topic or notā¦that made my morning. Left me with a good visual. As long as he is busy cheering along over there, it keeps him away from here.
Still canāt gain any altitude even with this weekends meeting
What is it going to take to move this stock north? Even after EVERYTHING we have been through, including some very positive meetings this weekend. It is almost impossible to keep a positive attitude. Barely above .01ā¦Really???
The dollar (USD) is up fairly sharply whether due to new āraising ratesā talk or Europeās DB jitters. This drives capital to flow to the USD. All other major currency pairs against the dollar are down. PMs priced in dollars down sharply, esp. silver.
Iāll check to see but I deleted alot of them cause they were at the time worthless.
I sent everything I had sorry it wasnāt much but will still look for more
Someone contact handshake, Iām pretty sure heās been keeping records for years
It is going to take patience.
As an analogy, you own a store, you have a customer in your store, you have $100 on the counter. You turn around and the $100 disappears. Your video surveillance shows the customer took the $100. The next day the customer comes back, says Iām sorry I shoudnāt have taken the $100, Im in the process of sorting out my finances and will do my best to get you the $100 back. Would you put another $100 on the counter and turn away?
Just because MDMN has taken steps to clean up its mess doesnāt mean anyone would or should trust them implicitly. MDMN now has to perform and make good on its promises. Until such time as MDMN acts the way it has stated it will act and produce precious metals in a way it has said it should, the market will not trust MDMN and we will not get share appreciation.
Unfortunately, due to having to resolve many of the issues legally, this process will take time. Every MDMN investor needs to decide whether they can wait or take their losses and move on to something else. If you decide to wait, watch MDMN like a hawk to make sure they honor their promises. Im hopeful, based upon Masglas having āskin in the gameā as a shareholder just like us, we see MDMN honor its recent statements about fixing its problems.
Also once the mountain starts showing results, then the legal/share issues become less front page news. Either way, in my opinion, you are looking at 12-18 months before anything really starts to happen.
Thanks for your feedback. It is just that too much emphasis has been put on our share count. I get it. Nevertheless, the price should not be stagnant over the next year. I just feel that with even 3 billion shares outstanding, we should be trading closer to .02, based on fundamentals and forward looking progress. Plus any shares we do claw back will be a bonus, and should also reflect in the share price as we continue to get them backā¦
Could someone email Les and confirm a 12-18 month timetable?
Too soon?
In all honesty, Iād love to see the calculations you used to get this to .02 based on fundamentals.
Do you think .01 is a proper valuation? If so, this is most likely dead money for another year. Letās just hope we can stay above .01. If not, watch the panic selling. It wonāt take alot of selling (a few million shares) and it wonāt be prettyā¦
I have absolutely no idea how to valuate this thing given the current circumstances.
Got home late last night so this is my first post since the meeting. Much was presented there, and has largely already been presented and recounted by those posting in the meeting thread set up by cabezon (now closed). Great summaries and comments by all, including yours Brad. Big Thank You!
Not sure what your point was in mentioning this (highlight above), but Iām glad I did have my moniker below my name. Wish more shareholders who post and attended had done so, as I only got to meet a handful of you face to face. Also, sorry I only knew you as āBradā at the time, since you didnāt have a moniker attached under your name. I understand you had a plane to catch and werenāt there to socialize. I actually thought I was talking to an iHuber at the time (lol), but after reviewing all the absolutely incredulous misinformation and comments posted over on iHub I doubt any of them actually attended the meeting. Brad, I enjoyed our discussions, even if a little contrarian. You showed a very healthy skepticism, although I thought you were a little overly aggressive in the some of your opinions. Understandably, since you said you had brought about 15 people to invest in this company, which also explains why you are āmadmenā (plural), rather than madman.
Vittal publicly stated he had brought in about 50 family and friends, which compelled him to divest of his holdings the same day while in the Miami meeting (along with Greg) when they first heard and saw of the fraud Les was confronted with for the first time. Les did not suspect that he had been caught until after the meeting started. Les was indeed caught flat footed that day in Miami. The meeting was arranged to discuss company debt, and at least Les did give up his claim to $3.1M on the spot and confronted with the proof he had forged documents. It is apparent the past BOD were not actively involved in protecting shareholder value as required by management positions, especially in trusting Les to an unwarranted degree to handle the paperwork. This is most recently apparent in the scrivenerās error in the Okanandian contract. I donāt think there is a single investor present in this investment that hasnāt been completely disgusted, and with good reason, over what all shareholders have experienced over the years in lost value.
There will be no quick resolution to restoring the degradation of our investment over the years, but my take away from the meeting is there are a lot of good people putting time and money into make things better NOW. Letting the legal team apply as much leverage to the claw-backs and stock cancellations as facts come out of their investigation will result in quickest and cleanest results, IMO. Painting with a broad-brush in a vindictive manner without all the facts, as many have done, is unproductive. The least amount of time spent in the courtroom by our attorneys the better for all investing here. I expect the DOJ and/or RCMP will go after those that deserve jail time for their misdeeds as the facts will be handed over to those refusing to cooperate and pay back what was stolen. Time is linear and one can only move forward. That is what the BOD is doing. I had a good a good time, actually great time, socializing and having dinner with a few ⦠would have like to have mixed with other investors had time allowed. I was pleased to discuss various issues and socialize with Karen, John, Wayne, Nora, Teresa, Darlene, Dan, Annie, Mark, Jim, Madeline, Bob, Elaine, Maurizio, Raul, Gary, Vittal, Dennis and others I had the pleasure of meeting. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. All in all, it was a great meeting and more than I expected.
