Medinah Minerals (MDMN) - 2016 Q4- General Discussion

The poll function only uses multiple choice, pick one from a list; best I can do. I didn’t list ‘not attending’ or “maybe” since we were only interested in numbers. Peter requested the poll which of course only includes forum members who happen to stumble upon it and choose to respond.
Thanks, @easymillion for explaining the limitations and how to interpret the results. Multiply the number of respondents by the percent of each choice, then double the answer for choice 2, triple choice 3 and add them all up.
Uneverknow is correct, I think they are going to need a lot of coffee and pastry…

One thing would be interesting, if we could get permission and someone to live stream the presentation.
When there were shareholders by the hundreds that had invested and were willing to spend time and money to attend, there was a willingness, now, so many have taken a negative hit, most do not see throwing more positive monies at a meeting that will bring them minimal results.

I am hopeful that our new team and co- owner’s share our interest and ambition to not only show what the mountain can produce, but also provide a directive of what not only what the SEC is stating, but what their intentions are and what might be in the best interest of the shareholders to do.

Being several hundred cannot see the reasoning to attend, I think a live stream only appropriate… IMO

FYI… I have been contacted, and there will NOT be any live streaming or video of the meetings in LV. at Auryn’s request… There will be published notes for shareholders to read.
I do appreciate Auryn taking the time and spending the money to keep us informed (which would be my Q. # 1). I hope all in attendance would appreciate this as well and conduct themselves in a civilised manner so that many of our questions might be answered to the extent they can be.
Unfortunately, I have had to take much time away from my business to look after family, and do not plan to attend this meeting. I hope all that do attend take informational questions and notes…

Thank you in advance!!

GC, thanks for the updated information. While I respect Auryn’s decision, I don’t understand their reasoning. In this age of technology, a live streaming meeting is only proper to ensure all shareholders have access to the same information at as close to the same time as possible. I appreciate them distributing notes but you can’t get the same feel for the meeting by reading a transcript. If you do have a POC, could you ask them if they could possible record the meeting and then post it later on their website? Or would they be able to set up a conference call so at least people can dial I and hear the conversation and presentation? Live streaming may not work but a video that shareholders could watch later or a conference call would be most helpful. I will be there in person, just posting this for those who can’t. Thanks again and have a great day!

I don’t know the status of production but yes I think Auryn is holding back news.(With Winter about over, expect a big increase in activity on the mountain resulting in more news worthy items.) I think they will continue to say the bare minimum going forward until some time has elapsed/more clarity is obtained in Les Price’s BOD resolution forgery share issuance scheme.

That seems to make sense, if Auryn can save juicy press releases for when the illegal share issue deal has more clarity and is less scary, then those news releases would be accepted at near full value by the market and people would invest more freely in MDMN.

Works for me but I think a conference line would answer the mail and be very simple to set up in the venue they have booked. Treat this shareholder meeting like your routine company conference call.

Maybe a shareholder can take a video and post it afterwards?

Periscope would be a great option

Facebook live video

Tap on Post and then tap on the Live Video button. Add a description for your broadcast and tap the Go Live button when you’re ready. During your broadcast, you’ll see how many viewers you have and can respond to comments live. You can also hide comments or switch the front and back cameras of your phone.

It appears the meeting is in two parts:

  1. Medinah
  2. Auryn

Who will presenting for each session?
The tone may be different from 1st to 2nd

My worry is a buyout offer while we are too cheap for most to recover.

Don’t forget that offers don’t have to be accepted.

They have stated that no video will be allowed, I will continue to ask for some type of interaction, but would not count on it.

I would think that in their position, some shareholders would/might use that type of venue for a more radical approach.

I think we should be patient (much as I hate that) to see what information they have to offer, I will pass along one point, this is the only time we have to speak with anyone, even our own BOD! If we had a direct line where we could get updated, shareholders wouldn’t be as apprehensive, or perhaps a better word " Bewildered ", by where we are in the process.
We appreciate Auryns information process on the mountain and production, but we are also very concerned where we are in the theft of shares that Medinah has yet to update us on.

I dont think we have to worry about a buyout offer while there is uncertainty about the outstanding share count.

I think it is time we had a “real” investor relations company in place, to answer our questions and attract new investors. Especially once production starts. A general meeting once every 4-5 years is not going to cut it. I hope this gets discussed at the meeting, although there are far more important issues than that at this time…

Once dividend funds are available to Medinah then we should have something to discuss/promote to current and potential new investors. Until then, production, expansion of mining operations, moving forward to take care of the outstanding share issue as much as possible and recouping funds and/or shares might go a long way toward making those dividends Medinah receives more valuable to the remaining shares and shareholders.
