Someone who thinks they can buy the shares back at a lower price?
Someone who needs money right now and can’t wait for 3-4 months for a possible gain?
Probably some more scenarios, but those are 2 right off the top of my head.
flippers from .0047?
I agree there are flippers and after bottom buying around .0045 and hitting the recent high of .0095 you have profit takers. I believe we could see a pull pack to about .0064 where we should see first level of support. The problem I see is that MDMN has become even more thinly traded than before we had an extra 1.5 B shares. JMO
Because ,most are in for a longer time.
It’s more than flippers today, there is over 5M for sale under .008.
Hope they go to stronger hands.
I would suspect it’s a group that is working the price up and down during these times.
I suspect the same.
Bloomberg mews today reports on Copper Price with Freeport Mining in Indonesia export to China negotiations for last 6 plus months still in process and BHP mining issues which will impact either lower or $ 3 dollar prices soon going forward…
AURYN to Access U.S. Capital Markets
February 15, 2017 @ 1:35 pm
AURYN is pleased to announce that it intends to provide increased liquidity to its shareholders by accessing the U.S. capital markets as a Foreign Private Issuer. Our intention is to file an F-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and become a fully reporting company. If our registration is accepted, we anticipate an initial public offering of our shares on the OTCQX® or OTCQB® tier of OTC Markets sometime in the fourth quarter of 2017. Further details will be provided as they become available.
Submitted on behalf of the Board of Directors
Interesting that it is Auryn, not Masglas, that is going to IPO.
Implies Auryn believes there will be solid enough information and interest to support the action.
So is this good news for us shareholders?
I believe this is a smart move, since it gives Masglas the opportunity to monetized the value that they are building in Auryn and of course they must believe their is enough information to support a good valuation for Auryn. The question that remains is whether our interest will be diluted and to what extent as a result of an IPO. Also MDMN should then trade as a direct relationship of our ownership in Auryn.
For those of you in the know, how will this effect our share price?
It all depends on the IPO price and our interest after the IPO as well as the market reaction.
This is very good, now we will know how valuable Auryn is.
I assume Kevin’s visit in Chile and the announcement are connected in some way. He must have agreed to something? I also assume one day we will all be owning shares of this new stock in one way or another. I also think they will have a Major JV partner before then as well to help increase the valuation. (assuming that the JV terms does increase the valuation.)
Not to put words in your mouth, do you think we could see a possible share swap?
MDMN’s share price will be more closely tied to Auryn’s public valuation once IPO’d.
At 26% ownership, if Auryn has a market cap of $100 million, MDMN should have a value of $26 million. If Auryn has a market cap of $1 billion, MDMN should be valued at $260 million.
Could Auryn going public be a requirement of a major JV partner?
That’s the implication. A major might require that for various reasons.
